"Only had a phone call with them but it was incredibly helpful. Would have definitely hired them if I was in their service area. I called after a local company (the only one open at the time in my city) told me that I should be very concerned about a fridge Freon leak and try to move the fridge outside. I called river city for a second opinion. After being asked a few questions about my fridge, I received honest advice and was immediately calmed. No reason to try to move the fridge, or invest a ton in repairs as it was over 15 years old. Big thank you to River City appliance."

"a lot of the reviews seem to be mainly 5 star reviews. let me start by Ron made it clear to my spouse that it’s 125 to come out and diagnose the issue, and i understand this can be unpredictable to what the problem may be and some times it takes longer or shorter depending on the issue at hand, my guess is some people don’t like the price if they can’t afford to fix the appliance after getting the diagnosis. for the 125 diagnosis fee he is not coming to solve the issue, he is diagnosing it and then fixing it on top. I am a locksmith and i understand how some customers can not want to pay for a key when they realize their vehicle has other mechanical issues. but he did good and efficient work for us. thanks!"
